Dubai Outlet Mall
We started the second day of our trip with a visit to Dubai Outlet Mall. Although it is located a bit away from the city center, it stands out as one of Dubai’s first and most recognized outlet concepts. In addition to global brands such as Nike, Adidas, DKNY, and Tommy Hilfiger, the mall also features various lifestyle brands with significant discounts.
Dubai Outlet Mall is not as massive as Dubai Mall; instead, it offers a simpler and more functional structure. Despite being farther from the city center and mostly attracting visitors who arrive by car, the steady presence of tourist groups positions the mall as a destination-oriented outlet center. In that sense, Dubai Outlet Mall offers an important alternative for those seeking value-for-money shopping in a city known for luxury retail.
A Modern Lifestyle Island
Bluewaters Mall hosts a boutique-scale mix of luxury and lifestyle brands, while also standing out with its strong food and beverage concepts. The waterfront restaurants and Ain Dubai — the world’s tallest observation wheel and the iconic landmark of the island — combine retail with social life and tourist appeal.
During our visit, we observed that Bluewaters is not only a shopping destination, but a new-generation urban hub integrating retail with tourism and entertainment. What stood out the most was the project’s ability to harmoniously combine retail with residences, hotels, and major tourist attractions.
Marina Mall:
Shopping With a Gulf View
Marina Mall is one of the leading shopping centers not in Dubai, but in Abu Dhabi. With its position overlooking the Marina district and the Gulf, it offers an atmosphere that goes beyond the classic mall experience. Featuring a diverse retail mix, cinema complex, and entertainment areas, it strongly appeals to families.
The balanced distribution of anchor and lifestyle brands, spacious walkways with natural lighting, and a comfortable layout enhance the overall shopping experience. Meanwhile, its connection to the marina promenade and the coastal social areas reinforces its identity as a destination seamlessly integrated with everyday life.
For us, Marina Mall stands out as an example where the value comes not from scale, but from leveraging location effectively and offering a distinct atmosphere that enhances visitor preference.

From the Marina to Antarctica
Later in the day, we joined a boat tour departing from the Marina Mall area. Viewing the Dubai Marina skyline from the sea offered a fresh and impressive perspective on the city’s modern urban fabric. With its residential towers, hotels, and dining venues along the coastline, the marina remains one of Dubai’s liveliest districts.
The tour continued toward The World Islands, an ambitious development consisting of hundreds of man-made islands shaped to represent countries and continents. Our route led us to Antarctica Island. We enjoyed a refreshing swim in Dubai’s warm climate and experienced firsthand the scale and bold vision behind this extraordinary project.
Evening: Nola Eatery & Social House
We ended the day at Nola Eatery & Social House, located at the heart of the marina’s vibrant atmosphere. Inspired by New Orleans cuisine, the restaurant stands out with its lively social ambience.
The modern décor and energetic atmosphere provided the perfect setting to unwind after a full day. For us, the evening was a clear example of how gastronomy in Dubai is designed not just around dining, but as a complete lifestyle and social experience.
